Gibson Les Paul Standard 1991 in black. Great condition - recent fret dress and set-up. in Kingsbury, Warwickshire for sale

Very reluctant sale! Gibson Les Paul Standard 1991 in very good condition apart from some wear on the neck and a couple of small dings, pretty standard for a guitar this age, however buckle rash is at a minimum and overall condition is as i say very good. There are a couple of small dings at the back of the neck but in the centre and not felt when playing and the photo showing wear on the neck is around the 2nd fret and is simply from playing where the finish has been worn off to the wood. It can't be felt when playing. I have just had a fret dress by LA guitars and so it plays as slick as you would want it. There is some meat left in the frets but they have come down a bit because it looks like the first fret dress and it was needed to set the guitar up properly so it plays perfectly. It sounds great. They say that after some pretty dodgy runs in the 80s that lost mileage to some new makers and the Strat Plus, Gibson got their act together in the 90s and this guitar attests to that. Its as good a Les Paul Standard as I have heard. The neck pickup is fat and full with pretty good definition and the neck pickup has bite and very reminiscent of some of Led Zeppelin's tracks Its a good, honest Les Paul and if you want an example of what a good Les Paul is like - this is your puppy. Comes with original case that is a little tatty but has the original owners manual and instructions to set the code on the lock. Cash on collection preferred and NO offers - it is priced properly and less than half price of a new one (and twice as good!). If you want to pay by paypal and have it sent add £50.
